Fernando G. Serra MD FACS Education & Credentials
Dr. Fernando G. Serra, MD FACS, is a highly esteemed Board-certified plastic surgeon. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, earning a BS in 1989, and continued to the University of Florida Medical School for his MD in 1992.
He participated in the prestigious Junior Honors Medical Program, a rigorous 7-year BS-MD combined program. Dr. Serra pursued a Plastic Surgery Residency at The Ohio State University (1992-1998), engaging in a 6-year combined general surgery/plastic surgery program.
In 1998, Dr. Serra founded Central Florida Plastic Surgery, where he has been practicing since. He achieved Board Certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery in 2000 and successfully recertified in 2010.
Dr. Serra is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the American College of Surgeons. His extensive education and credentials underscore his commitment to excellence in plastic surgery.
